Film Editing
Shaping the world of Bo's Diary
As editor on Bo's Diary by Isabel James, I brought the coming-of-age fantasy narrative to life with energetic and dream-like montages, as well as with genre-appropriately-awkward dialogue scenes.
Sound Design
Creating the soundscape for Heritage
As sound designer of the mixed media installation 'Heritage' by artist and filmmaker, I worked to mix sound for a documentary and for a physical exhibition space.
Podcast Production
Making our voices heard
Created by myself and fellow critic Merryana Salem in 2019, GayV Club is a podcast where we discuss LGBT films and television series and how queer people of colour are represented within them. I have been invited to speak at panels by Queer Screen and the National Young Writers Festival.
Writing
Poetry and film criticism
I am also a writer of fiction, poetry, films, and film criticism. My words have been published in The Big Issue, Sissy Screens, Vertigo, and the Australian Poetry Anthology of 2021-2022.
